Congratulations to FVRH Urology Team for your brilliant fundraising!
We were delighted to meet the Urology Team from Forth Valley Royal Hospital who recently took on the challenge of climbing Ben Ledi and raised a tremendous £5,182! The team took to the slopes of Ben Ledi to help make a difference for men and their families affected by prostate cancer. Their commitment and determination truly embodies the spirit of community and giving back.
‘We’re very pleased the money is going towards helping men locally,’ one of the FVRH Urology team said.
The team chose to support Prostate Scotland to help men with prostate cancer. Moreover, their fundraising activities also gave them extra opportunities not only to demonstrate their care and passion for their patients but also to help raise awareness of prostate health. We were delighted to see the teams’ efforts featured in the Falkirk Herald and the Daily Record.

Our COMPASS support services for men with prostate cancer in Forth Valley
- We’ve teamed up with Maggie’s Forth Valley to offer our Living Well with Prostate Cancer Course. Registration is always open for the courses
- Men with prostate cancer, and their families, are also welcome to speak to a Cancer Support Specialist at Maggie’s Forth Valley. Both services are available free of charge.
