More about our Harmonise for good health initiative:

Every year the Rolling Hills Chorus performs sell out fundraising shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Edinburgh-based A cappella Chorus has generously supported our work for over fourteen years. You can read more about them in their own words here and watch their brilliant Fringe performance below!

Men’s Health Month takes place in June, with a focus on Father’s Day on 16 June.

The Chorus are now looking forward to hosting this Prostate Scotland event in Edinburgh. They’re looking forward to welcoming men to join them to harmonise for good health!

  • Feel the experience of singing in harmony
  • A new personal activity to try for Men’s Health Month
  • Health benefits and social opportunities
  • Sing in fantastic fundraising events!

The Chorus also raises funds in aid of our work at their annual Christmas concerts and on other occasions throughout the year. They were also our first fundraisers during the pandemic, which kickstarted our virtual activities and encouraged our other supporters to try new ways to fundraise. We’re also working with the Chorus on our inaugural Prostate Scotland Christmas Concert, to be held at St Cuthbert’s Parish Church in Edinburgh.

And congratulations are in order!

The Chorus competed at the British Association of Barbershop Singers Convention in Harrogate last weekend. They were placed 9th as outright winners of Division 2 and consequently elevated into Division 1. A great achievement for all 50 members and their Chorus Director, Rosalind Johnson! Congratulations – fantastic news!

We’re delighted to join Rolling Hills Chorus in promoting their work, and the health and social benefits that singing as part of a chorus can bring. There’s no obligation, so why not give it a try?
