Dunfermline’s Fire Station Creative Annual Memorial Concert

Secure your tickets for a night of fantastic live music at Dunfermline’s Fire Station Creative. Featuring artists including the return of Sandy Power. This year’s theme, Spring into Summer.

Now in its eighth year, this annual event at Fire Station Creative has become a highlight of our fundraising calendar. The event has raised £4,951 since it began in 2017. We’re also delighted that Joe Parker from Radio West Fife will be joining us for the evening as master of ceremonies. This year’s line up includes; Alan Forrester, Sally Gall, Norman Lamont and Dog on a Swing alongside Sandy Power who performed at last year’s event. The fundraising concert in memory of co-founder of the venue, Bob Moir, will take place on Friday 23rd May at the atmospheric Fire Station Creative venue in Dunfermline.

A fantastic night for all!

There’s a full bill of music including original songs and country folk to suit everyone’s music taste.  Here’s a taster of what you can look forward to on the night…

Sandy Power, a powerful solo performer with exceptional song-writing talent. Sally Gall, an acapella folk singer is inspired by folk songs she heard growing up which feel relevant to people today.  Norman Lamont, who you may be familiar with through our Euros song “We’re On Our Way!” last summer which he co-wrote/produced on. Dog on a Swing, the song writing name for Ed Ritchie who draws inspiration from life experience in his work. He has performed at various venues around Scotland over the years with a new solo performance show in the works. Joining them on stage will be Alan Forrester, the concert series’ founder and organiser.

Thanks to Ian, Al, Sandy, Sally, Norman, Dog on a Swing and Radio West Fife for your fantastic efforts.  A big thank you to the tremendous Dunfermline community for continuing your support of this superb night to raise funds and awareness of prostate cancer and disease.
